Tenggara Designs (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates http://www.universitybridgeproject.org (the “Site”) and manages the UniBRIDGE Project. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site and participants in the UniBRIDGE Project.

An exception to this is videos recorded by participants are uploaded to YouTube; videos are able to be retrieved by participants for assessment or feedback purposes.

 

Personal information you provide may be used to compile statistics used for reasons of project management; however, this information will be stored in such a way that will not allow individuals to be identified. Aside from the mandatory fields that are included in the registration process, the extent of personal information that you choose to provide is at your discretion. The only way we know something about you personally is if you provide that information voluntarily. For example, when you take part in online discussion on the UniBRIDGE 2016 Facebook group, or during a language exchange on the web-conferncing platform, ClickMeeting.

 

Use of Anonymous Data

 

The UniBRIDGE Project website, ClickMeeting account and UniBRIDGE 2016 Facebook page automatically gather anonymous information, such as your computer's Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, and the time and date of your visit and other statistics. This anonymous information is collected in order to monitor the level of use the UniBRIDGE Project, ClickMeeting account and UniBRIDGE 2016 Facebook page receives. The data is only used in the aggregate and it helps us determine how much all the various parts of the Site are used so that we may improve the Site and the UniBRIDGE Project.

Remember that whenever you post or talk about personal information online in publicly accessible places, such as the web-conferencing chat box or the web-conferencing program ClickMeeting, this information becomes available to anyone who has access to the internet. While access to the UniBRIDGE interactive features, such as the ClickMeeting web-conferencing program and the UniBRIDGE 2016 Facebook group, is restricted to registered participants, recorded sessions may be posted on external sites like YouTube, or screenshots may be taken and posted on external websites. These videos and screenshots may be shared by participant peers. They may also be used by us for marketing for the UniBRIDGE Project. Your information could be collected and used by others. In other words, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties. Therefore, we advise that you do not post, or talk about in the web-conferencing program, any information that you do not want to be seen publicly.
